A few updates were added after the release of Freeance build 11986. A new Freeance server build version 11987 and updated device build 11988 are available. Device updates will be available based on reviews by the iTunes and Google Play stores.

After upgrading and licensing the Freeance Server, you need to clear the cache of the browser used to access the Configuration System. Please re-check your required fields to make sure they did not become unchecked after upgrading. Please re-save any active Cityworks App Configs.

If you are still at the 7.4.0 server version and the 7.4.2 device version, please review the Freeance 7 Installation and Configuration Guide before installing the 7.5.2 version of Freeance software

Key Points for You to Know

• Installation of new database drivers is needed to run newer database versions.
• An updated license file is needed for all installs, even if you are upgrading an existing licensed installation. License files are available between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST. If you need to license Freeance after hours, please contact us to schedule.
• Setup instructions for New Features and Improvements are included in the Freeance 7 Installation and Configuration Guide. Some new features may not be available until they are configured in the Freeance configuration system or supported in a newer version of Cityworks software.

Before installing the Freeance 7.5.2 server software, please review the Freeance 7 Installation and Configuration Guide to ensure success with your installation.

Freeance full install and upgrade are available from TDC’s support site at support.freeance.com.

Freeance 7.5.2 11988 Device App – Required

• IOS device apps will be available in 1-3 business days from the iTunes store.
• Android device app will be available in 1 business day from the Google Play store.
